Our activities include the chartering of tankers, combination carriers and chemical and gas carriers ranging from 1,000 tons to approximately 350,000 tonnes deadweight. Annually, the tanker department is involved in arranging the transportation of 40-50 million tons of liquid bulk cargo. During recent years, this department has expanded its activities from the pure ship broking function for either the cargo or the tonnage side, into consultancy work, which means early involvement of customers with future projects. The company offers its know-how in oil transportation and tanker employment to assist in the preparation of feasibility studies and develop cost-efficient transport solutions. The chemical chartering section deals with the transportation of liquid and gaseous chemical substances worldwide, for leading German and international producers and trading houses. The typical parcel size in this special field is 1,000 tonnes, but this can range from 200 to 15,000 tonnes. The chemical chartering section provides knowledge to charterers and owners, particularly for products which require special care, or those which are particularly sensitive.
